Illustratio is the Latin word for enlightenment. In connection with this, the staff remains firm on the battle against red tagging of student activists. We will stand against the stigma that activists are seen as a threat, as we believe in the freedom of expression on being a voice for the marginalized sector that cannot voice out their pain. We will be the voice for student activist and those who are oppressed. We are not only here to be a voice for the masses, we are here to enlighten the mass by educating them with the reality on how they are being oppressed. We are here to free them from the chains of the unknown by educating them in which enlightens them to seek out and become a part of the larger battle against oppression.
